The loch varies in depth from 2ft to 18ft with the average depth being around 5 to 8 feet. Floating lines are best in the shallows with intermediate lines working best off the dam wall.
A large portion of the loch is accessible to fish by disabled anglers and our friendly staff are always at hand to assist or even pass on good tips to catching fish.
Flies that work well at Haylie: Buzzer,Blood worm,CDC,Damsel,Sedge.
